New Mobile BI App and Advanced Mapping Capabilities at the Heart of Latest DecisionPoint™ Release

Leeds, United Kingdom, October 10, 2015 --( International software company Antivia today announced that the latest version of its business intelligence (BI) software DecisionPoint™ is now generally available to customers.

DecisionPoint™ enables organizations to unlock the value trapped in their business data by empowering non-techies to quickly turn data into beautiful interactive dashboards that can be shared with anyone on a tablet, smart phone or web browser.

Version 4 R9 extends Antivia’s industry leading mobile information delivery capabilities and also sees the introduction of advanced mapping, thanks to a tie-up with San Diego-based Centigon Solutions.

The latest version sees the release of a brand new DecisionPoint™ mobile app, which includes:
- One-click offline dashboard synchronization to allow users to take multiple dashboards offline without loss of functionality
- An option to open dashboards with offline data by default to ensure field workers always have fast access to answers, even when connected to low bandwidth networks
- Portal customization to enable businesses to completely customize the app to match their brand
- An option to save filter settings allowing users to open a dashboard with previous filters active to easily pick up where they left off.

Mark Hudson, CEO of Antivia said: “Successful data-driven organizations need to deliver information to everyone that needs it in a way that works for them. This is particularly true of remote workers who often have to battle with patchy and unreliable network connections when they’re on the go. That’s why we’ve worked closely with customers who are deploying BI to large remote workforces to ensure that the new DecisionPoint™ app delivers on the experience that remote workers need.”

The new advanced mapping capabilities are delivered through an integration with CMaps Analytics from Centigon Solutions. This makes it easier than ever to create rich, interactive dashboards that combine maps with traditional visualizations to deliver the types of insight today’s business people demand.

Donald MacCormick, Chief Product and Strategy Officer at Antivia, said: “With so much of our data having a location element to it, visualizing this data on a map provides a new perspective to help business users understand what’s happening in their part of the business. This new integration with CMaps Analytics means our customers can combine maps with traditional visualizations to see the big picture.”

In addition, version 4 R9 enables the business user to export their dashboard data directly to Microsoft Excel.

The release also sees the introduction of a number of productivity features, enhancements to charts and extra functions to provide extra flexibility when defining expressions.

DecisionPoint™ version 4 R9 is generally available to all customers with a valid support and maintenance agreement.
