Vienna, Austria, October 10, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- After a year of development, the online startup Pretty Long (www.prettylong.com) just celebrated its successful launch. “Pretty long items for pretty long people” – The online platform collects articles from online stores all over the internet that are designed to fit the needs of tall men and women – primarily longer clothes and shoes in bigger sizes, but also furniture, like longer beds and linens to facilitate tall every day struggles.
Co-Founder Caroline Catasta said, “Being 181 cm (5’11”) myself and wearing a shoe size 42,5 (11.5) I was struggling my whole life finding clothes and shoes that would fit. It was frustrating. We want to give tall people a fun and satisfying shopping experience by helping them find products that are long enough to fit longer bodies and feet. Douglas Griffin, Co-Founder and 201 cm (6’7”) tall himself, adds: “Our goal is to build a community of like-minded people and to share experiences via our blog and write about topics that are relevant for tall people.”
The company has literally big plans and aims to expand its range of products to other areas, where tall people might have it harder than the average customer:
- Sports articles, like longer golf clubs, ice hockey clubs, etc.
- Outdoor gear, for instance longer tents or sleeping bags
- Furniture, such as higher office desks, bigger beds, etc.
- Travel related solutions, such as flight seats with extra leg room.
