Blessman Ministries, an Iowa-based Christian ministry organization, releases their latest schedule for upcoming mission trips to Africa throughout 2015 and 2016.

Urbandale, IA, October 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Blessman Ministries, an Iowa-based Christian ministry organization, releases their latest schedule for upcoming mission trips to Africa. Mission trips will be open for volunteers throughout 2015 and 2016, and interested parties can apply for short-term trips that last for thirteen-day spans. During the trip, participants will interact with the local community through various outreach programs led by Blessman Ministries and the African Church.

Three short-term trips to South Africa are scheduled for the remainder of 2015. The earliest one available is on July 16 to 28, followed by two more trips on September 3 to 15 and on September 17 to 29. As for 2016, seven trips are already scheduled with the earliest starting from January 28 to February 9. The rest of the 2016 schedule is as follows: February 11 to 23, March 11 to 22, April 7 to 19, June 9 to 21, June 30 to July 12, and July 21 to August 2. During the trips, participants will help children, adults, and families in South Africa through different ministries such as vision, orphan care, construction, and Bible-based life skills.

While most of the trip will be spent doing outreach program activities, participants will also have the opportunity to engage in other fun activities during the closing days. The Shikwaru Lodge is a popular destination where volunteers can participate in photo safaris before departing back to the U.S. Another enjoyable activity is the Big Five Game Safari adventure at the Entabeni Safaris. There is also a world-class golf course at the Legend Resorts for the golfers and golf enthusiasts who will come along on the trip.

For those would like to contribute more than just thirteen days, long-term mission trips to South Africa are also available. Volunteers who can commit to staying for nine months are available to join and serve as ambassadors of compassion and healing. In such missions, volunteers will have a more immersive experience with the local community and will assist with outreaches, participate in ministry events, and support the South African Church.
