The prize for the current challenge is $200 Gift Certificate for any service at

"You ever notice that some objects kind of look like letters? Like the brim of a mug looks like an 'O' or the top of that roof makes the letter 'A', or even a stick in the shape of the letter 'Y?'" stated Tim L. Walker, owner and administrator of "This contest is unique in that is asks the photographers to photograph these objects that look like letters, and put them together to create a holiday word in the form of several photographs stitched together. Not only will the entries be judged on the chosen word, but also the quality of the 'collection' of photographs, not just on 1 photograph."

Photographers who join have the ability to enter one photograph for each of the Contest Corner Challenges. In an effort to make the contests fair for all members, only photographs taken during the time of the contest can be entered, and only minor post-production photo manipulation can be used.

Contest Corner Challenges at are issued to site members in the community’s forum. Only Premiere Members of Photography Corner (requires a yearly or lifetime subscription) are eligible to win some of the prizes, but all members of the site are always invited to submit photographs to the contest and to participate in the five-day voting window to vote on contest winners and discuss submissions after they have all been received.
