YCS Festival of Flavors Appeals to the Palette and Tugs at the Heart

A Showcase of Chefs & Fine Wines to Benefit New Jersey’s Most Defenseless Children

Hackensack, NJ, October 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- A cadre of talented Garden State chefs will donate their culinary skills and faire for The 16th Annual YCS Festival of Flavors wine and food tasting benefit at the Park Ridge Marriott on November 2nd.

The event, which has become a popular Bergen County tradition, features international delicacies. Guests can cruise tables and sample such delicacies as shrimp spring rolls, salmon sliders, handmade dumplings, Truffle fries, Ahi Tuna and steak kabobs, chicken Satay, hand-dipped chocolates and much more. There will be a selection of fine wines provided by Opici Wines and Dracaena Winery as well as a sampling of craft beers by Climax Brewing Company.

The highlight of the evening will be the exciting opportunities to win luxurious raffle baskets, and participate in live and silent auctions that boast two round trip first class Delta Airlines tickets to Europe, two round trip continental U.S. JetBlue tickets, a luxury Porsche for the weekend and more.

Who is helped by YCS

Each year, YCS cares for more than 5,000 children and families in an array of residential, community–based, educational and home care services across New Jersey. Festival of Flavors raises critical money for underfunded programs and ancillary essential services. These programs include the Sawtelle Enrichment Program – a camp for children on the autism spectrum, YCS therapeutic nurseries – for preschoolers with intensive behavioral health challenges, and YCS Foster Care for children and youths affected by trauma.
