Stanbridge College Recognized as a 2015 ACCSC School of Excellence

Stanbridge College has been recognized as a 2014-2015 School of Excellence by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The award is presented every five years during a school’s reaccreditation cycle.

Irvine, CA, October 31, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Stanbridge College has been named a 2014-2015 School of Excellence by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Stanbridge was honored along with 23 other schools, out of the 800 institutions that the ACCSC accredits. The award distinguishes ACCSC-accredited schools for their commitment to the expectations and rigors of the accreditation process, as well as the efforts made by high-performing institutions that have demonstrated strong student achievement outcomes.

ACCSC-accredited institutions are eligible for the School of Excellence Award every five years, subject to meeting the conditions of renewing of accreditation with ACCSC without any findings of non-compliance, satisfying all requirements necessary to be in good standing with the Commission, and demonstrating a high level of student achievement, including rates of graduation and graduate employment. Stanbridge College was recognized during the Award Ceremony at the ACCSC’s 9th Annual Professional Development Conference in Arlington, Virginia on September 9th, 2015.

Stanbridge College is home to several unique technological innovations for student training, including the world’s first high-fidelity canine patient simulator, the West Coast’s only synthetic human cadaver lab, and multiple world-class training and patient simulation clinics. The college has maintained one of the highest continuous pass rates on the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) in California since 2007 with a 91% cumulative pass rate. The Occupational Therapy Assistant Program has a 96% two-year average annual National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) pass rate, and the Hemodialysis Technician Program has a 95% two-year average annual California Dialysis Council (CDC CHT) pass rate.
