Michael Goldzweig wins "Best in Show" in Fusion Art's "Colorful Abstractions" International Online Juried Art Exhibition

Michael Goldzweig’s “Tabula Rasa,” a 36” x 36” acrylic on canvas painting, is the Best in Show winner of the "Colorful Abstractions" International Online Juried Art Exhibition and he is Fusion Art's Featured Artist for the month of November 2015.

Palm Springs, CA, November 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of its International Online Juried Art Exhibition, “Colorful Abstractions” on November 1, 2015.

Michael Goldzweig’s “Tabula Rasa,” a 36” x 36” acrylic on canvas painting, is the Best in Show winner and he is Fusion Art's Featured Artist for the month of November 2015. He is a Chicago, Illinois based artist. His passion for art started at the age of 6 and he was selling his pieces by the age of 15. Michael attended The American Academy of Art in Chicago, where he graduated with honors in 1983.

In his illustrious career as a freelance artist Michael created a series of artwork for the toy surprises in Crackerjacks and completed art techniques for many motion pictures including Curly Sue, Home Alone 2, The Untouchables, Blink, and Transformers 3.

As the Best in Show winner, Michael is also invited to participate in Fusion Art's Annual Group Show in Palm Springs, CA, in November 2016.

Other “Colorful Abstractions” award winners include Second Place winner, Evie Zimmer, for her oil on canvas, "The Big Spin" and Third Place winner, Courtney Jacobs, for her acrylic on canvas, "Whimzeedee." Honorable Mention was awarded to Rachel Grace for her acrylic on canvas, "Cognitive Dissonance" and to Catherine Spencer for her oil on canvas, "Ravenous Lophiiformes."

The Colorful Abstractions competition received entries from artists in over seven countries including the US, Australia, Russia, Canada, Japan, Ireland, and Bulgaria. The exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website until November 31, 2015.
