Career Step Matching Referral Enrollments in November with Donations to the National Military Family Association

Career Step has announced plans for its fourth annual donation to the National Military Family Associationā€™s Operation PurpleĀ® program.

Provo, UT, November 04, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Career Step, an online provider of career-focused education and corporate training is challenging its nationwide network of referrers to help with the school’s fourth annual donation to the National Military Family Association’s Operation Purple® program. Members of Career Step’s referral network will determine the amount Career Step donates—the school will donate $50 for every student who enrolls in the month of November through a referral.

“The individuals who make up our referral network are amazing; they really are the boots on the ground in our efforts to tell others about the education opportunities Career Step offers,” said Vonda Andrews, Career Step Referral Program Manager. “We sincerely appreciate their efforts, and because many of them have close ties to the military, we look forward every year to this opportunity to make each referral matter a bit more. We are a privileged to be able to give back to such a great cause that supports and lifts military children and families.”

Career Step’s donation to the National Military Family Association has been designated for the Operation Purple® program, which during 2015 hosted more than 2,700 campers in their summer camps, about 400 participants in four Operation Purple Family Retreats® and another 320 participants in their Operation Purple Healing Adventures®. These programs focus on helping military families cope with the stress of deployment, homecoming and injuries by providing opportunities to connect with others in similar situations, learn proven communication techniques and make positive memories.

“Career Step is deeply committed to serving the military community and has trained over 15,000 military spouses and service members throughout our company’s history,” said Tim Reynolds, Career Step Military Liaison. “Our efforts usually focus on supporting education and career efforts such as MyCAA education funding or the Military Spouse Employment Partnership. We look forward to this donation to the Operation Purple® program each year as it broadens our scope and allows us to help in a way that is even more personal and close to home for those who give so much in the service of our country.”

Career Step’s referral program offers resources and incentives for those interested in telling others about Career Step’s career-training programs. In celebration of November as National Military Appreciation Month, Career Step will be donating $50 for every referred student who enrolls in the month of November in addition to paying the normal bonus to the referrer. Career Step hopes to beat last year’s donation of $5,000.
