Long Beach, NJ, November 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Wonder Women Tech today announced that it will hold its (2nd annual) July 15, 2016 - July 17, 2016 at The Long Beach Convention Center, in Long Beach, CA. With the theme #WEAREPIONEERS, Wonder Women Tech will kick the week off with micro events hosted by community partners during Wonder Women Tech Week (July 10th-15th). Thousands of attendees from around the world will engage in conference programming including a Diversity Career Fair, workshops for Seniors and the Deaf and Disabled community, a Junior Innovation Camp, and a Learning Center, where hundreds of underrepresented children and adults will learn how to code, build games and much more.

“I wanted to co-create an ecosystem where we could discover a diverse range of pioneering women as role models, and cultivate a network where women were supporting and educating other women through their journey toward building success in tech, S.T.E.A.M and innovation,” said Lisa Mae Brunson, Founder of Wonder Women Tech. “Partnering with Mayor Robert Garcia and the City of Long Beach for the next three years allows us to accomplish that goal together.” The conference will host over 30 distinguished panels and 100 speakers, including C-Suite women, business leaders, inventors, investors, best-selling authors and award winning scientists and pioneers. Keynote speakers and special guests to be announced.

“This will be a great event which will highlight many local and international innovators, techies, and creatives who have revolutionized our economic and cultural life,” said Mayor of Long Beach, Robert Garcia. “It’s especially exciting that this event is led by women, will include interactive educational experiences, and will inspire girls and other underrepresented groups to join the ranks of pioneers in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.”
