)-- To help create heightened awareness among consumers, a series of infographics focused on long term care insurance is being made available by the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance distributed information to news outlets explaining the benefits.
"We wanted to help insurance agents and financial planners who market this important protection educate consumers about long term care planning and the role of long term care insurance," explains Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance. The member-supported trade organization created the initial series of infographics and encouraged their members' use during Long-Term Care Awareness Month (November).
"Infographics provide factual data in a graphic format that people find easy to understand," Slome notes. "That's what makes them a powerful marketing tool especially in today's social media age."
The initial infographics utilized information from research contained in the Association's 2015 Long Term Care Sourcebook. "Our goal is providing members with the most current, relevant and helpful benefits that support their goals of creating awareness, marketing and selling long term care insurance solutions," Slome added.
The American Association for Long Term Care Insurance was established to promote sound and affordable planning for Americans. The organization is based in Westlake Village, CA.
