Accredited Appliance of Phoenix Chooses Speed Queen

Phoenix, AZ, November 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- After more than 30 years of repairing appliances, the owners of Accredited Appliance of Phoenix know which brands last the longest and need the fewest repairs. So when the company decided to sell washers and dryers to the public, they chose Speed Queen because the appliances are built, designed, and tested to deliver 25 years of commercial-grade service in your home.

Accredited Appliance, a local appliance repair firm based in Phoenix, services customers all over the Valley. Common services include refrigerator repair, oven repair, washer repair, dishwasher repair, dryer repair, freezer repair, disposal repair, microwave repair, ice machines and air conditioners.

When asked about the decision to select the Speed Queen brand, Accredited Appliance Operations Manager John Kisiel said, “Speed Queen has the best service rating in the industry. In fact, the Speed Queen front load washers that you put in your home are the same durable, long-lasting washing machines used in laundromats and other commercial applications like hotels and military bases. While the industry standard is a one-year warranty, Speed Queen's industry-best, five-year warranty covers all parts and in-home labor on electronic control models.”

In the 2015 model line, Speed Queen created a new cycle called Eco-Normal to meet the new Department of Energy requirements. Speed Queen front loads have achieved Energy Star rating but the top loads didn’t until now with the Eco-normal setting. To achieve the Energy Star designation, the requirements are much more stringent in terms of amount of water used.

“Speed Queen made the decision to design its machine to the needs and wants of their customers,” Kisiel explains. “To achieve Energy Star designation, the company would have had to dramatically lower the water level, remove the full size agitator and replace it with an impeller, eliminate the deep tub rinse and automatically control temperatures per factory pre-set levels. Their concerns were that these changes would have disappointed customers with concerns relative to washability.”

Speed Queen is focused on cleaning clothes and energy savings, and the new Eco-Normal cycle does that. “For the customer that wants the option of higher water levels, full size agitators, and deep tub rinses OR wants a cycle they can save the most money on energy, they get the best of both worlds with Speed Queen,” Kisiel says.
