Meet an International Student Ambassador of Korea, Callanta Maria Lynette J.
Manila, Philippines, December 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Gyeonggi Tourism Organization of Korea has been provided a student ambassador program that offers farm tour opportunities to international students living in Korea. The members of this program are called ‘GG Supporters’.

One of the GG supporters, Callanta Maria Lynette J. (25, Female) from the Philippines majors in Koreanology in Seoul National University.

She learned Korea culture through Korean wave such as K-Pop and K-drama. Since then, she has been loved with Korean economic development history and has decided to study Koreanology to understand Korea more.

She seems a common international student, but she is special. Because she belongs to GG supporter group. She has traveled Gyeonggi province in Korea for a year in 2015 as a member of GG supporters, and introduced attractions about the area. She applied for GG Supporters because she thought she might understand Korea more during traveling Gyeonggi area.

“I think the advantage of farm tour is that I can deliver my impressions to others who have not experience,” Lynette said. “I came to know that travelling Korea has countless attractions besides Korean wave,” she added.

She picked Korean folk village in Yongin as the most memorable place that she has visited as a GG supporter. She learned a lot from the area, and experienced Korean traditional art called Nongak (Korean traditional music with traditional musical instruments) and Talchum (Korean traditional masquerade).

“Through GG Supporters, I want to be an ambassador of Korea to share more useful information about Korea,” she said.
