Unwired Revolution Rolls Out RemoteLink 2.0

RemoteLink provides unparalleled operational data transfer capabilities.

Mesa, AZ, December 04, 2015 --(PR.com)-- RemoteLink 2.0 is now available for existing maintenance customers. RemoteLink automates and monitors the flow of operational data and provides the critical foundation for many business processes by streamlining the bi-directional delivery of various types of data, including sales reports, inventory data, field maps and even software and configuration files.

Previous versions of RemoteLink addressed ever-increasing transfer demands by handling hundreds of connections per server and leveraging built-in transport optimizations to minimize connection times. RemoteLink 2.0 contains additional job processing performance enhancements, delivering an up to 20% increase in job efficiency.

Offering a straightforward migration path from the aged solution RemoteWare, many large retail organizations, representing more than 25K clients, have transitioned from RemoteWare to RemoteLink over the last year. In addition, organizations utilizing other operational data transfer solutions as well as non-retailers have moved to RemoteLink to optimize file distribution models and associated business processes.

“For more than 20 years, Unwired Revolution has integrated and developed solutions to enable effective data delivery and process automation in specific industries, such as utilities, public safety, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail,” said Unwired Revolution’s co-founder and CEO Rob Lowery. “This proficiency and experience has further expanded our ability to develop RemoteLink as an efficient operational data delivery and process solution.”

Version 2.0 of RemoteLink also incorporates interface updates including the ability to view logs by task, more detailed troubleshooting logs, communication and job processing activities viewed within the job history. Customer-requested features such as the addition of task priority capabilities, the ability to assign a task to a client and assign a client to a job are available now in RemoteLink.

Key enhancements to RemoteLink 2.0 include increased granular control with additional job configuration properties including client version, client OS reporting, time zone tracking, and admin auto logging tracking.

Introduced in August 2014, RemoteLink has an active, customer-driven roadmap. Unwired Revolution plans three RemoteLink releases in 2016.
