Princess Stars in New Adventure Tale by Elissa Briskin Greenberg

Dog Ear Publishing reviews a children’s book featuring a beautiful young princess and a new friend she meets while out riding.

Boca Raton, FL, December 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Trouble seems to follow Princess Rayna no matter where she goes, and this day will be no exception. A chance encounter and the allure of a mysterious castle prove too much for her curiosity. What happens next is relayed in a new children’s book released by Dog Ear Publishing.

Leo, who has just moved to the kingdom, sees a beautiful girl with copper-color hair. He introduces himself and learns she’s named Antoinine. He accepts an offer to look inside her lovely white castle. Once there, however, he fails to heed her warning not to touch anything. Instead, he’s drawn to a treasure chest full of sparkling gems and picks them up. Antoinine is enraged by his action and transforms into something completely unexpected. Suddenly Leo is trapped.

When Princess Rayna hears strange laughter, she heads to the castle. What she finds there will require teamwork from a special companion. Although she manages to rescue Leo, they don’t make a clean getaway. Instead, she must use her crown and its magical jewel to fight Antoinine in her true form. Even if they do manage to get away, will that be the end of the story?

“The Adventures of Princess Rayna: Princess Rayna Rescues Leo” features delightful illustrations by Perry Waterworth, which enhance this fairy tale appropriate for all ages. The children’s story won the Award of Literary Excellence from Dog Ear Publishing, which honors books that impress the company’s editorial staff.

Author Elissa Briskin Greenberg, born in Montreal, got the idea for Princess Rayna years ago when she suggested her daughter write about a heroine instead of a hero for a homework assignment. She hoped to inspire girls to realize their potential, secure in the knowledge that they can do anything. She and her husband live in south Florida and have two grown daughters.
