Atlanta-based architecture firm, Foreman Seeley Fountain, was recently awarded the prestigious WFX Solomon "Best Church Architect" Award for the newly designed and expanded CrossPointe Church located in Madison, Alabama.

Atlanta, GA, December 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Atlanta-based Foreman Seeley Fountain Architecture, a full service design firm specializing in architecture, planning and interior design, was awarded the prestigious 2015 WFX Solomon Award "Best Church Architect" in the category of facilities seating 800 or more for the design and expansion of CrossPointe Church located in Madison, Alabama.

The Solomon Awards, a well-respected awards program sponsored by Worship Facilities and Church Production Magazine recognizes churches and their partners for excellence in facilities design, building expansion and remodeling, operation excellence, innovative use, and technical production. Churches across the country are selected and awarded by size categories determined by Worship Facilities and, Church Production Magazine editors and members of the WFX Advisory Board and management team. Award recipients will be featured in an upcoming issue of Worship Facilities Magazine.

The new, 44,000 square-foot CrossPointe Church located at 78 Hughes Road in Madison, Alabama, is an inspirational model of symbolism, community and grace. The facility represents a significant step for the church and its mission to cultivate inclusiveness and community while serving as an expression of the congregation’s faith. The renewed modern facility, more than double the size of the former church, provides expanded and vibrant children’s, youth and adult facilities for their growing community, an expansive and welcoming gathering space with a soaring two-story atrium that evokes warmth while fostering social interaction, and an innovative design that reflects the symbolism of the church’s spiritual mission and beliefs.

“It was such an honor to be a part of this inspirational project,” said Jerry Fountain, President of Foreman Seeley Fountain Architecture. “Through a collaborative approach with the staff and administration of CrossPointe Church, we were able to achieve our primary objective of designing a worship space that facilitates the mission of the congregation’s expression of faith. More than simply a building, the church unifies the ministries, fellowship and individuality of the church with the framework of God’s teachings.”
