New Website Offers Training to Senior Citizens on Computers and Technology

SeniorTraining.org was launched on December 15, 2015, to teach senior citizens about computers and technology.

Travelers Rest, SC, December 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- On December 15 SeniorTraining.org was launched, a new website focused on teaching computers and technology to senior citizens. The site features videos that average 5-15 minutes each explaining topics such as Windows 7/8/10, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, E-mail, and more.

Gilbert is the owner of Call Brady Computer Services, a computer repair shop that has operated in Greenville County since 2004, and in Travelers Rest since 2007. He says that the majority of his residential clients are seniors, and that many of them struggle with similar concepts.

"My senior clients frequently express frustration over learning computers. Classroom environments are frequently too fast-paced, and kids or grand kids tend to 'do' rather than 'teach,' leaving them struggling."

Subscribers to the site can select videos on the topics that interest them most, and can rewind or replay the videos as often as they need. The videos are shot with seniors in mind, using common sense descriptions as opposed to 'techno-babble.' Subscribers also have access to ask questions, and new videos will be recorded weekly to answer many of those questions.

Gift subscriptions are also available on the site, and Gilbert reports that the site is open to anyone. "We won't be checking IDs. If you are not a senior but still are looking for a better way to learn technology, we welcome you."

Discounts are available on the site until December 31, 2015.
