Fort Myers, FL, December 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Hoops on Mission is doing there 2nd Annual Christmas Drive following up their successful 2014 Drive where 100 New Basketballs & New Bibles were distributed in the Dunbar Community.

Dwayne Jackson, former pro-basketball player and founder of Hoops on Mission in Ft. Myers, a local youth mentoring program that uses basketball to empower and educate at risk youth decided to start this event in 2014 because under-privileged youth in our area kept requesting basketballs. “I knew immediately we could put basketballs in their hands and I could teach them the game but I also wanted to teach them that life was not just about basketball. My desire was to also give them a manual that they could use as a road map to life and I decided to give them a Bible along with a basketball,” Dwayne says.

The "2nd Annual Hoops on Mission Christmas Drive" will be held at Stars Complex at 2980 Edison Avenue in Ft. Myers from 2 – 4 p.m. on December 23, for no charge and besides the clinic there will also be free food, live music and prizes.

Christ Centered Life Store along with CTN-10, has joined forces with Hoops on Mission because they believe in Mr. Jackson’s vision to impact lives in our community.
