Florida Public Relations Association Southwest Florida Chapter to Offer APR Study Sessions in 2016

Informational meeting being held in January at Southwest Florida Community Foundation.

Fort Myers, FL, December 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Florida Public Relations Association Southwest Florida Chapter (FPRA SWFL) is pleased to announce that they will be offering study sessions in 2016 for PR professionals that would like to receive their accreditation in public relations (APR) designation. For those interested in registering for the free study sessions or learning more about the accreditation process, there will be an informational meeting on Thursday, Jan. 13. The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the Southwest Florida Community Foundation, 8771 College Parkway, Building 2, Suite 201 in Ft. Myers, Fla.

To earn APR accreditation, candidates must pass an oral presentation and rigorous written examination administered by the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB), which is an alliance of eight national and statewide professional associations dedicated to furthering the field of public relations and the development of public relations professionals. FPRA SWFL is a member of the UAB.
