Matthew 25: Ministries Responds to Devastating Tornadoes
Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization located in Cincinnati, OH is responding to tornadoes that swept through the Dallas/Fort Worth area and across parts of northeastern Texas Saturday, causing major damage. M25M is bringing relief supplies including personal kits, cleaning kits, paper products, tarps, blankets, toys, first aid and safety supplies.
Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization located in Cincinnati, OH is responding to tornadoes that swept through the Dallas/Fort Worth area and across parts of northeastern Texas Saturday, causing major damage.
Matthew 25: Ministries’ Disaster Response team departed on Sunday, December 27 with a selection of Matthew 25’s complement of specialized Disaster Relief vehicles and is expected to arrive in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area early Tuesday, December 29 and to begin distribution on Tuesday. The trucks are loaded with approximately 15,000 pounds of relief supplies from multiple corporate donors including Procter & Gamble and Cintas such as personal kits, cleaning kits, paper products, tarps, blankets, toys, first aid and safety supplies as well as laundry supplies and equipment including the Tide Loads of Hope Mobile Unit. The team plans on establishing a central distribution site, as well as delivering products to hard hit areas.
“Christmas is a time of giving,” says CEO Tim Mettey. “We hope that we will be able to help restore some small part of these families’ sense of normalcy and let them know that many people across the country are holding them in their thoughts and prayers.”
Matthew 25: Ministries responds to domestic and international disasters worldwide. Recent relief missions include previous Texas tornadoes and floods, East Coast flooding, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Mississippi, Arkansas, Illinois tornadoes, Nepal earthquake, California wildfires and drought, West Virginia chemical spill and Ebola relief.
Matthew 25: Ministries accepts cash, credit card and internet donations for ongoing disaster aid and humanitarian relief programs. More than 99% of Matthew 25: Ministries’ cash and in-kind donations go toward programs. All designated funds are used for the purpose intended. Matthew 25 also welcomes volunteers six days a week at their Blue Ash facility.
