Dr Somdutt Prasad: A Distinguished Speaker at ACOIN Sixth District CME

Dr Prasad shared input on Diabetic Retinopathy in the CME.

Kolkata, India, January 06, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Dr Somdutt Prasad, a well-known ophthalmologist and retinal specialist, was a distinguished speaker at ACOIN Sixth District CME (Session 2015-16) for Purva Medinipore district on 3rd January 2016. The CME was held at Aloy Phera Eye Hospital, Contai, Purva Medinipur.

Several ophthalmologists and members of different NGO Eye hospitals in the district participated in the CME whose theme was "In Search of Comprehensive Eye Health Care Problem in the Community - ACOIN Contribution for a Situation Analysis."

Dr Prasad spoke on Diabetic Retinopathy in the CME. Representing i4vision, Dr Prasad highlighted initiatives undertaken by i4vision to provide quality eye care. Other speakers were:

Dr Somdutt Prasad — MS, FRCSEd, FRCOphth, FACS and MFMLM — is a consultant ophthalmologist and retinal specialist at i4vision, AMRI, Fortis, Divyadrishti and Emic. He has also held key positions in the past at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (UK), United Kingdom & Ireland Society of & Surgeons (UKISCRS) and British & EIRE Association of Vitreo-Retinal Surgeons (BEAVRS).
