PicJam Launches Android App

New photo messaging app aims to turn your busy life into one you “experience together.”

Austin, TX, January 07, 2016 --(PR.com)-- PicJam, a photo messaging app that lets you privately communicate and share photos with friends and family in real time, has launched its Android app, now available for download on Google Play. Within the app, photos form a narrative timeline and then disappear after 24 hours. PicJam has also recently released a unique ‘reply’ feature for users to easily engage with a received photo message.

Since the launching of the iPhone app in August 2015, the PicJam team has focused on building a core user base on iOS. Now that both the iOS and Android versions are available, the company is expecting increased leverage for user acquisitions.

“People use pictures to express themselves with a level of empathy that the written word cannot imitate,” says Jae Ro, founder of Picjam. He reiterates that the PicJam team “found that people greatly appreciate that they can keep, revisit, enjoy or have a conversation over life’s small moments in a certain time span. It makes sense to keep every message alive for 24 hours.”

Founded in July 2015 and headquartered in Austin, TX, PicJam is one of the most promising startups in the mobile photo messaging market and is envisioning becoming a leader in modern visual communication.
