New Program Offers Money to Prevent Violence

C.H.I.L.L. Program literally buys guns, bullets, and other weapons from people off the streets by having safe C.H.I.L.L. concerts and events, providing donations to communities affected with the epidemic of guns and violence.

Milwaukee, WI, December 22, 2007 --( With gun violence at an all time high and violent crimes occurring in every corner of our neighborhoods, Music Executive and Entrepreneurs Mr. Dante T. Chestnut Sr. & Mrs. Shannon L. Chestnut have devised and implemented a program that will dramatically reduce the number of violent weapons from our neighborhoods, thus resulting in a reduction of violent crimes committed on our streets.

Coordinators and volunteers C.H.I.L.L (Creating Hope, I Love Life), will provide closely monitored and secure areas in each state where individuals can bring in weapons in return to sell at pre-set prices. After which, the bought guns will be incinerated and remolded into different products such as memorabilia and plaques to show gratitude to those who contributed and to honor those who have already lost their lives to violent crimes. This C.H.I.L.L. program plans to help increase student attendance and graduation numbers. Through college scholarship incentive programs, education awareness campaigns and a commitment to strengthening school music programs such as: Choir, Dance, Marching Band, and other Liberal Arts programs in public or private schools across the country.

Concerts & Tours titled “The C.H.I.L.L. JAM” will be held in various cities with other gatherings known as C.H.I.L.L. Parties featuring major level recording artists from all genres of music, with special guest speakers and humanitarians to help support by expressing the true power of giving back to save your community. Such events will be organized to provide awareness of not only the programs, but on violence and how to prevent violence, while providing a fun and more importantly, a safer environment for kids and adults to live in.
