)-- When workers handle hazardous waste and/or hazardous materials, training is not just a good idea, it’s the law. Individuals who are expected to stop, contain, and clean up releases of hazardous materials are required to have 8 hours of annual refresher training. Any individuals involved in the shipment of hazardous materials/dangerous goods by ground or air must receive training mandated by the US Department of Transportation (DOT) and the International Air Transportation Association (IATA).
Environmental Resource Center, the leading provider of environmental and safety training, will present the training in Cary at its headquarters, 101 Center Pointe Drive, on January 19–20, 2016.
Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response 8-Hr. Refresher Course will be held on January 19, 2016.
