Implementing a Successful Body Worn Camera Program in a Post-Ferguson Era

Goodyear, AZ, January 09, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The International Public Safety Association (IPSA), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a free webcast on body worn cameras sponsored by TASER International.

This special event targeted to law enforcement, or anyone else who wishes to attend and learn more about body worn cameras, will address the decision factors the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office made to roll-out a new body worn camera program in a Post-Ferguson era. During this webcast, attendees will hear from Lieutenant Gary Raulerson with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office about their recent and successful full-agency roll-out of more than 400 TASER Axon body-worn cameras. This educational overview will address how the agency prepared their deputies for the new, emerging technology and how it has made a positive difference in their jurisdiction.

The free webcast is scheduled for January 27 at 2pm Eastern Standard Time and individuals can register by visiting the International Public Safety Association’s website.
