Pasadena, CA, January 10, 2016 --(PR.com
)-- Film criticism/drinks site site I'll Drink to That! (illdrink.com) released its very first list of the Top 10 best films of 2015. To be accurate, it's the Top 11 best films. Says resident critic The Movie Bro, “With so many lists out there, how could I compete? I decided my list needed to bigger and better and louder than all those other year-end Top 10 lists. I had to take it to 11.”
The controversial English-language French film Love garnered top honors, followed by Room, which The Movie Bro recommended be paired with box wine (any brand). In the number three spot was Inside Out, from Disney/Pixar. The ideal drinks pairing was deemed to be Emotional Honey Ale from Allagash Brewing Co. in Maine, USA.
The full Top 11 list is as follows:
Love (dir. Gaspar Noé)
Room (dir. Lenny Abrahamson)
Inside Out (dir. Pete Docter, co-dir. Ronnie del Carmen)
The Big Short (dir. Adam McKay)
Brooklyn (dir. John Crowley)
Spotlight (dir. Tom McCarthy)
The Overnight (dir. Patrick Brice)
A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence (dir. Roy Andersson)
Trainwreck (dir. Judd Apatow)
The Revenant (dir. Alejandro G. Iñárritu)

The End of the Tour, about the fractious relationship between celebrity author David Foster Wallace and Rolling Stone writer David Lipsky, was paired with Seething Jealousy (pour 1 oz sweet vermouth, .5 oz Scotch whisky, .5 oz cherry brandy and .5 oz orange juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes; shake well, then strain into a cocktail glass).
