NSC IT Lecturer on His Way to Diamond Ranking in League of Legends

Oswestry, United Kingdom, January 20, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Daniel Beech, an IT lecturer at North Shropshire College (NSC) has been a gamer since the age of 10, from Sonic and Zelda to World of Warcraft and League of Legends via Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and GameCube, he has played them all! Dan is currently a platinum rank in League of Legends and has a world ranking of 470 in a guild on World Of Warcraft.

Dan commented, "I use my experience and expertise in gaming to teach critical thinking and analysis to our BTEC Level 3 IT students. Gaming promotes intellectual and rational thought processing which is integral to the study of Information Technology and the world of work."

Dan studied for a Level 3 qualification for Practitioners in IT before winning a place to study for a BSc (Hons) in Computing at university. He has worked as a Web Designer and currently teaches IT at NSC.
