Floristry Returns to North Shropshire College

Oswestry, United Kingdom, January 28, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Floristry has made a welcome return to North Shropshire College (NSC) after a long absence. The new floristry course is run by Eileen Avery at NSC’s Oswestry Campus, it is aimed at people of all abilities. Eileen commented, "I am pleased the Floristry course has returned to NSC after such a long absence, the College is now offering professional City & Guilds qualifications in floristry, the course is ideal for anyone who is looking to add to their CV or seeking part-time work. There is also an opportunity to progress onto higher qualifications."

Kathryn White a floristry student from St. Martins, works at Stan’s Superstore in the Floristry Department, Kathryn commented, "I wanted to improve my skills and be able to become a qualified florist to offer better service to the customers, the course is really good and I feel more confident in the workplace. I can apply what I’ve learnt in the classroom into practice. I find Eileen very good and knowledgeable she’s helpful and if you aren’t sure, you can ask. To anyone thinking of doing the course, I’d say just go for it, you won’t be sorry it’s well worth it."
