OT9 Design Plans Gallery for Disney and Dali: Architects of the Imagination

St. Petersburg, FL, January 28, 2016 --(PR.com)-- St. Petersburg-based architecture firm OT9 Design planned and designed the gallery for the Disney and Dali: Architects of the Imagination exhibit currently on display at The Dali Museum from January 23 through June 12, 2016.

The exhibit features a variety of nearly 200 pieces illustrating the unlikely friendship between Walt Disney and Salvador Dali, including paintings, story sketches, letters, photos, and film.

“The innovative work of Dali and Disney provides a wealth of inspiration,” said Sean Williams, principal architect at OT9 Design. “The variety of exhibits in this collection was a challenge, so we designed a virtual 3D model that allowed the curators to visualize the space from gallery to gallery and as a whole. The Dali team will be able to use the tool to design future shows in both the permanent and temporary galleries.”

Williams was a member of the original design team for The Dali Museum while employed at another architecture firm.
