Reaching Records Brings Musical Icons to Colorado Springs

Colorado's premiere entertainer George Sisneros and Adult-Contemporary singer/songwriter John Redmon headline the "All About Love" post-Valentines day concert at the Stargazers Theater.

Colorado Springs, CO, January 30, 2016 --(PR.com)-- George Sisneros is affectionately known as Colorado's premiere entertainer. With over 50 years of both performance and business acumen, Sisneros has become an entertainment mogul and a local star. His talents are evident and his skills flawless. He seamlessly maneuvers through a disparity of musical genres that include Jazz, Swing, Western, Country, Spanish, Irish, Pop, Blues, Classic Rock, and Romantic Ballads never missing a beat. He has performed from Maine to California. His local venues have included: The Broadmoor Hotel, Garden of the Gods Club, Colorado Springs Country Club, Woodmoor Golf Club. He has also awed audiences in many private parties, banquets and conventions. The charismatic Sisneros simply has a heart for the people and an evident love for his music.

John Redmon has been playing the piano since age 5. By age 12, his mother (an accomplished church pianist) and his other piano instructors not only mentored and encouraged young Redmon to play both by ear and sight, but also to compose his own original works. Surprisingly enough, right around the same time he developed a love for singing as well. He debuted his first solo at the Little Lambs concert in Oakland, CA with the Dottie Rambo penned Christian classic, “We Shall Behold Him.”

By 1995, Redmon decided to not just compose but to also house his original works within his own independent record label, naming the company Reaching Records. Due to his strong Christian foundation and roots, he developed a spiritual motto for his label which was to ‘reach and touch hearts around the world’ depicted by the label's logo. For the next twenty years, he did just that by producing and releasing multiple projects on his label that not merely gained local, national and international recognition but also kept a humanitarian focus. He produced projects like: A Woman's Journey that helped raised funds for cancer reasearch; John Redmon & Friends: Faith, Love and Unity, Vols 1, 1.1 that focused on AIDS awareness; S'Agapo (I Love You) and Thank You Lord (Story of the Shunamite Woman). These musical projects boasted of both local and national talent. Some of the more notable artists on these projects included: Grammy Award winners Patti Labelle, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Daniel Winans, Vickie Winans, Phil & Brenda Nicholas and Crystal Lewis.

Redmon has toured all over the United States and England with his inspirational messages found in both word and song. He testifies and we believe that his latter days are going to be greater than his past.

Other headliners for the “All About Love” concert include: teen pop idol Josiah Johnson and billboard-charting jazz saxophonist Ron McMillon of Denver CO. Special guest appearance by Thomas Dawson, Jr. of the legendary Commodores. Hosted by the hilarious comedienne Stacy Pederson.

Reaching Records is an independent, Christian-based, transitional record label based in Colorado Springs, CO. Christian-based in that the label refuses to put out or be apart of any project that has cursing, sexually explicit, derogatory, defamatory remarks or language. Transitional in that it does not sign artists but does accept unsolicited material.
