George J. Foxx Recognized as a Professional of the Year by Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Publication

Tampa, FL, February 11, 2016 --(PR.com)-- George J. Foxx of Tampa, Florida has been recognized as a Professional of the Year for 2015 by Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide Edition for his outstanding contributions and achievements in the field of finance.

About George J. Foxx
Dr. Foxx has almost 40 years experience in the field of finance. He is the President and CEO of Tax Doctor Income Tax Service which is an international tax preparation service. He is responsible for personal, business and corporate taxes, audits, meeting tax requirements and mediations. As a registered tax preparer, Dr. Foxx owns 5 businesses. He currently serves as a finance director for tax accounting and as a correspondent lending consultant, private circuit civil and family mediation specialist and is also responsible for some property acquisition and management. Dr. Foxx provides fiscal and educational leadership in finance and mediation. He serves as a liaison when necessary between clients, customers, corporate vendors and corporate legal representatives to resolve fiscal and family conflict. He also ensures that all matters of contract compliance and management fall within corporate established policies and procedures. He is affiliated with the National Society of Accountants. He was listed as one of the Best Teachers in America six times, awarded Teacher of the Year and has received numerous community awards and recognitions.

From 1990 through 2004, Dr. Foxx served as the educational leader for the School District of Hillsborough County, Florida, teaching at both Howard W. Blake High School and Mr. Pleasant Middle School, providing leadership for approximately 100 students. During his tenure in education, Dr. Foxx planned, designed, developed, implemented and evaluated a wide range of training and professional development for the staff and evaluated policies and procedure systems. He was responsible for monitoring the implementation of the curriculum and appropriate utilization of instructional materials. Dr. Foxx provided advice to the teaching staff in the area of instructional practices, strategies and school district practices. He promoted the maximum use of instructional time and set high expectations for student academic performance as well as developing recommendations with the staff for curriculum changes or updates. Dr. Foxx worked with the Board, teachers, parents, and students in establishing and maintaining discipline according to due process; overseen the guidance and counseling for students and provided counseling to students with personal and/or behavioral problems, resulting in improved performance. He prepared and administered the school level budget.

Dr. Foxx was born in Florida and obtained an Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 2002. In his spare time he enjoys swimming, sports and gourmet cooking.
