Big House Publishing and Stereoscope Music Scandinavia Announce Sub-Publishing Deal

American independent music publisher, Big House Publishing (BHP), expands their reach into Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden by signing a three-year sub-publishing deal with Stereoscope Music Scandinavia.

New York, NY, February 18, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Big House Publishing, a boutique independent music publisher, has announced its seventh sub-publishing deal since Q3 2015, this time with Stereoscope.

Founded in 2012, Big House Publishing is a full-service independent music publisher that is home to both emerging and experienced writers and artists. Exclusively representing their roster’s releases in the US, as well as across the globe through their sub-publishers in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Italy, France, the GSA, and the Benelux, BHP exploits composition and often masters in advertisements, film, and video. They also actively create global collaborations for cuts and toplines with their writers and producers. With a strong focus on development, and on exploitation from song-cutting to sync, Big House works closely with their roster in their five-room recording facility to build repertoire and, with their partners, to gain exposure.

Founded in 2011, Stereoscope Music Scandinavia is the mothership of a new adventure in music and ideas. As founder, Ben Malén has been a major contributor to the Scandinavian music export since the mid-90’s with the focus on delivering great Scandinavian music to the world.

Big House Publishing’s Krista Retto comments, “Our deal with Stereoscope is super exciting. We have been in a focused effort since last year to explore sub-publishing partners who reflect us – a culture of active involvement with its writers; a drive to work closely daily; and a niche strength in the resident territory. Stereoscope is embedded in Scandinavia, and we are already exploring each others’ rosters, finding key collaborations and moving at light speed to make great things happen for each other.”
