CEO Addresses Daily Fantasy Sports and Sports Betting Debate

Is daily fantasy sports (DFS) a form of sports betting? Is sports betting luck or skill? These are two questions the federal and state governments as well as professional sports leagues are debating. Grandmaster Sports Handicapper Joe Duffy of weighs in with his new YouTube video.

Alpharetta, GA, February 19, 2016 --( CEO Joe Duffy has been a full-time professional handicapper since 1988. He started playing fantasy sports at age 10 with Strat-o-Matic. He began rotisserie baseball participation for prize money with fellow sports handicappers with his first job just weeks upon graduating college. His full-time income since 1988 has been as a bettor, scorephone announcer, and full-time sports handicapper.

It would be an understatement to say he has very conclusive and decisive convictions on the provocative controversies regarding DFS sites such as DraftKings and FanDuel. Duffy conclusively answers the questions on whether or not daily fantasy sports qualifies as gambling and perhaps more importantly if sports betting is a game of skill or pure luck.

The tipping point of the video/podcast is when Duffy is more than willing to put his money where his mouth is. It is a challenge he is confident no dissenters are willing to accept. The game-changing video can be seen on his YouTube channel at or the audio simulcast on his podcast, which is carried by every major outlet including iTunes, Stitcher, and TuneIn simply by entering keyword, “OffshoreInsiders.”
