Second Annual Comedy Fundraiser to Benefit Non-Profit "Women In Need of Growth Services" in Naples, FL

Naples, FL, December 28, 2007 --( The public is invited to see the comedy of Megan Mooney and Eddie Gossling who will be featured at a benefit for Women In Need of Growth Services (W.I.N.G.S.) on February 5, 2008 at the Sugden Community Theatre, 701 5th Avenue South in Naples, Florida. Tickets can be purchased at the Sugden Theatre for $100.00 per person by calling 239-263-7900. The show begins at 7:30 PM and doors will open at 6:30 PM.

Megan Mooney is a popular headliner in comedy clubs and has performed on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend plus other popular comedy venues. Her relaxed and approachable comedy style has gained her instant approval with all types of audiences. Mooney has performed at both the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival and the Just For Laughs International Comedy Festival. She can be seen on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, the E Network, The Style Channel, the Game Show Network and can be heard on XM Satellite Radio.

Eddie Gossling has appeared at the Vancouver and Chicago Comedy Festivals and became one of the first ever comedians to perform at the Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival as both a "New Faces" performer and "Festival Gala" performer in the same year. Eddie has been seen nationwide on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, also Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen and the Game Show Network’s National Lampoon’s Funny Money. He also hosts his own half hour comedy special, “Comedy Central Presents Eddie Gossling.”

Women In Need of Growth Services, Inc. (W.I.N.G.S.), is a not for profit 501(C) (3) organization that runs the McCord House in Naples, a women’s transitional home for recovery from alcohol and/or drug abuse. W.I.N.G.S mission is to provide a foundation in recovery and self-sufficiency for alcoholic and chemically dependent women, by providing a safe, structured, alcohol and drug free home, extended counseling, life skills training and assistance for career development.
