)-- ClaimVantage will exhibit at the annual Eastern Claims Conference (ECC), which takes place in the Waldorf Astoria, New York from March 13th through 15th. The ECC is an educational conference devoted to educating attendees in the areas of Life, Health, Disability, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment claims management.
The ECC attracts a broad target market, from entry level associates to senior management from all over the world. ClaimVantage is an international provider of claim management systems, with best in class features aiming to improve the efficiency and accuracy of claim processing, including claim intake, eligibility, workflows, tasks, case management, correspondence, benefits calculations and payments. The software is cloud-based on the Force.com platform, offering insurers a continually updated claim processing solution that keeps pace with the ever-changing insurance industry.
Since the last ECC conference, ClaimVantage has introduced some new software features and enhancements to take recent industry trends and customer feedback into account.
1. Since the ACA has been introduced, employers are looking to offer more voluntary products into the market. ClaimVantage expanded their lines of business to include Critical Illness (CI) and Long-term Care (LTC) claims management.
2. Employee and Supervisor portals have been enhanced to introduce support for older browsers, and to add some new product features, such as Life and Health claim creation, Absence time summary and Absence return to work (RTW) data entry.
3. As of October 1st, 2015 ClaimVantage has replaced the ICD-9 codes with the ICD-10 codes. ClaimVantage integrated with the medical codes to offer ICD duration look up and medical code search. To support the transition, MDGuidelines is offering access to the ICD-9 codes until October 2019.
4. With analytics and fraud detection on the forefront of insurers minds, ClaimVantage now offers both benchmarking capabilities based on IBI research data, and fraud scoring based on red flag indicators.
The product improvements allow ClaimVantage to remain best in class in cloud-based claim processing. To organize a meeting with ClaimVantage at the upcoming ECC, visit http://www.claimvantage.com/events/.
