NSC Animal Management Students Redesign Aquarium

Oswestry, United Kingdom, March 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Animal Management students at North Shropshire College’s (NSC) Walford Campus have redesigned one of the fish tanks in the Reception area of the Harris Centre; the aquarium contains various tropical fish from across the world. This is one of many projects students complete whilst completing their qualification, as with all BTEC qualifications, there is an emphasis on students developing practical skills which will serve them well in the workplace.

Level 3 Animal Management Student, Tia Eggerton, commented, "We were set the task of completely redesigning the fish tank to accommodate tropical fish. Various aspects of the ocean were incorporated to ensure the natural surroundings for the fish. We enjoyed adding our individual choices to the tank. This made it unique to us. We were also able to choose the fish ranging from Angel Fish, Guppies and Japanese Fighting Fish plus many more. We particularly enjoyed the responsibility and making it our own. We chose the colour of the background and gravel, the plants and various pieces of furniture including an Artificial Jelly Fish!"
