"Small Church with a Big Heart" Shows Big Changes in Newly Released Annual Report

Peterborough, NH, March 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- You wouldn’t know it as you drive by, barely noticing the little church set back from the road in the middle of town, but this tiny church packs a big punch. The release of their 2015 Annual Report has set the tone for the year to come, changing from static black and white reports to a vibrant document detailing growth and development as an influence in the local community.

PUMC had an average weekly attendance of 49 people in 2015, and all indications of even more growth thus far this year. This church experienced 13% growth in Sunday attendance last year, and an even greater 34% growth in the offering. But even more remarkable is the fact that this humble church raised $3910 for a variety of nonprofits.

PUMC embraces modern technology with many things available on their web site, including the beautiful 2015 Annual Report. They also have an active Facebook page. Their YouTube videos received 2,110 views in 2015.

A solid group of core people includes Pastor Lourey Savick, who said, "People have visited and decided to stay, becoming a part of our congregational life and bringing their gifts to our ministry." In April she received the Young Alumni Award from Wartburg College.

The most impressive thing about this church is not something you can demonstrate with statistics and numbers, but the real feeling of family and acceptance that they embrace. Learn more on the church website PeterboroughUMC.org or visit Sundays at 10 am to meet the church family.

Peterborough United Methodist Church, founded in 1819, recently celebrated the 175th anniversary of their church building. Their church family comes from all over the Monadnock region to share the Sunday worship service.
