Streetcats Foundation and Teensurfer Looking for Teen Heros to Honor.

Streetcats Foundation, with 24 web sites for children, youth and families and a national radio broadcast, Reaching Up, is looking for teens to honor who have done something kind and heroic to help others. Teens will be featured on web sites, in a new Teen Heros book and on national radio.

Portland, OR, March 10, 2016 --(PR.com)-- A national search for teens who have done outstanding things big and small to help others has been started collaboratively by several youth and family organizations and projects including Streetcats Foundation's Youth and Children Net, Teen-Anon, One Heart for Kids, Hands United for Change and Teensurfer.

They are asking people to help nominate, publicize and honor teens who are doing something outstanding for others, their communities and society and for featured youth to be an example for others.

Nominated teens picked will have their stories profiled on several web sites, on a weekly national satellite music and interview show, Reaching Up and in a new book titled "Teen Heros."

Those knowing outstanding or heroic teens are asked to send the names and ages of teens and two paragraphs of what they're doing to Celebrate Teen Heroes (teensurfer.com/teenhero.htm ) They and those who nominate those who are selected will be awarded some awesome prizes as well.

Those nominating should initially send their names, the name of the teen and 2 paragraphs summarizing why the teen is outstanding or a hero to the email address on the Teensurfer Teen Hero web site and then be emailed, if selected, for a longer story and with parental permission, a photo.
