Jersey City, NJ, March 11, 2016 --(PR.com
)-- JCFamilies will be launching a new exciting initiative this spring: JC Feministival Series - a monthly series of free events, which will serve as a means to empower, showcase and promote local businesses owned and operated by women.
Each Feministival will feature local female artists, chefs, fashion designers, healthcare providers, and other business owners as they grow their presence in the community. JC Feministival Series will become a launchpad for women, who invest their careers and passions into further enriching our diverse community.
The series will take place at Exchange Place Plaza, May through September 2016, on a third Friday of every month: May 13th, June 10th, July 8th, August 12th and September 9th 2016.
Key note speakers, local community representatives, a diverse groups of 10-20 female entrepreneurs and hundreds of Jersey City and Hoboken residents are expected to attend each Feministival.
“We could not be more excited to kick off this exciting new program,” said Mamta Singh, JCFamilies founder and president. “The opportunity to support local women entrepreneurs while enjoying fun activities on summer Fridays afternoons is not to be missed.”
