Rhode Island Comic Con Hosts Toy and Memorabilia Auction

Cranston, RI, March 13, 2016 --(PR.com)-- After a successful toy buying event in January, Altered Reality Entertainment, owners of Rhode Island Comic Con, the Biggest Show in the Smallest State, in partnership with Bruneau & Co. Auctioneers and Travis Landry, will hold a Toy, Comic, and Collectible Auction at noon on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at their auction house in Cranston.

Items up for bid include a complete set of 1978 Star Wars 12 backs all AFA graded 85NM+ or higher, a 90NM+ Green Crossbow Chewbacca, the highest graded example to date, and a 90NM+ C3PO. There will also be a vast selection of other
AFA-graded Star Wars figures from all lines up to the Droids series, and a vast selection of Japanese die-cast, tin, and vinyl from companies such as Popy, Bullmark, Clover, and Takara. Select highlights include a Bullmark tin litho Jirass in unused condition, Clover DX Daitarn III and Gundam, Popy Dynaman and Tetsujin 28, and Takara Diaclone Grimlock in unused condition. American toy selections include Voltron, Transformers, Thundercats, Power Rangers, G.I Joe and many more. Select American featured toys are four unreleased G2 Combat Hero Optimus Prime and Megatron prototypes AFA-graded with Hasbro green standard tags. G.I Joe selections include two U.S.S. Flaggs one MIB complete and the other MIB unused sealed in the shipping sleeve.

Interested parties can view the items up for auction during the preview days, Thursday, March 17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday, March 18 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a preview party beginning at 5 p.m.
