)-- On Oscar® Sunday, February 28th, the International Ballroom at the Beverly Hilton Hotel was the new venue for the arrival of approximately 150-200 Academy film and television stars. Norby Walters, veteran music agent and producer, reprised his role as Dinner Chairman, and the Executive Producer of the prestigious event was billionaire clothing designer, manufacturer and health researcher Peter Nygard, Founder and Chairman of Nygard International. The formal sit-down dinner viewing party has always included past Oscar winners and nominees who return to pay tribute to this year's favorite Award nominees. 2016 attendees included the Oscar winning and nominated Walters family, which received five Oscar nominations in 2015 for WHIPLASH (Bold Films). A featured interview was with award winning filmmaker Tyrone Tann, who has been in involved in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. He has worked professionally as an actor, appearing in television shows, including ER, China Beach, Diagnosis Murder, and films, including Social Misfits, Starship Troopers and The Prophecy 3: The Ascent. Tann has also worked “behind the camera” as a director and/or Producer on a number of independent feature films. Tann gained recognition as a filmmaker by breaking a Guinness World Record in 1998, producing the feature film Bug Night, which made movie history by being noted as having the longest film take. It was a movie that was filmed all in one continuous shot, all in one take, without any cuts, stops, or edits for 90 minutes straight. In 2008, Tann formed his own production company STAUROS Entertainment, L.L.C. Another featured interview was with award winning actress Bai Ling, who was recently one of the stars of Gregory Hatanaka’s Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance.
