)-- Country artist Lorrie Morgan guests this weekend on America's most-listened-to pet talk, Animal Radio®.
Lorrie Morgan is not only a powerhouse country performer; she's also a "hands-on" supporter of her local animal rescue, "New Leash on Life." Lorrie has performed several benefit concerts to help fund the non-profit animal welfare organization.
Lorrie also has a house full of fur including "Weezy" & "Puddin'" her Pit-bulls, and "Abbey" & "Ray" her Great Pyrenees, as well as a pond of "not-so-furry" coy fish. And like most pet lovers, she tolerates the dogs jockeying for position in bed every night.
"Pit-bulls are misunderstood," says Morgan, "I’ll often get on Facebook and see videos of animals being abused. I want to know who’s filming the videos. I’d like to smack them in the head!"
"Lorrie doesn’t just talk the talk...she walks the walk when it comes to protecting our companion animals," says Animal Radio host Hal Abrams.
Catch this special nationwide broadcast Saturday and Sunday March 19th & 20th on any of Animal Radio’s 132 AM/FM affiliate stations on the USA Radio Network, including flagship KOST 103.5 Los Angeles or eight digital properties including the Animal Radio Smartphone App for iPhone/Android and iHeartRadio.
