)-- Repsly, a B2B mobile cloud solution provider for mobile workforce management, has recently been rewarded a $125,000 grant from the Croatian government to expand its research and development efforts for predictive analytics features within its product.
The Croatian government created the Croatian Research & Development Grant program to encourage startups to cooperate with scientific institutions in order to accelerate their R&D activities.
Repsly received the grant to further its research in predictive analytics, specifically around mobile teams and how this technology can be used to improve employee performance. The project is called the "Repsly Intelligent Assistant", and it will be integrated into the Repsly Mobile CRM product. The 'Repsly Intelligent Assistant' technology is scheduled to be available by mid-2017.
"The app is context-aware, which means mobile phone users know where customers are and the app is able to recommend the best next move for the sales rep, which customer to visit next, and how much time they have before their next meeting depending on traffic," according to Repsly's CEO and co-founder Marko Kovac.
Repsly currently serves 500 customers including recognized brands such as L'Oreal, Phillips, Nike Golf, and KIA Motors, among others. Its mobile workforce management software offers a web console for managers and a mobile application for employees in the field. The advancement in its predictive analytics technology will turn Repsly into a virtual personal assistant that analyzes and schedules customer visits.
The company was founded in Zagreb, Croatia in 2008 and relocated its headquarters to Boston in 2014 after securing venture capital funding. Repsly has raised $2.25 million in funding so far. Some investors in Repsly include Launchpad Venture Group and First Beverage Group.
