Miss Greater West Coast Presents the New Generation of Pageantry

Carson, CA, March 23, 2016 --(PR.com)-- On Sunday May 22, 2016, a panel of celebrity guests will judge inner-city women on their communications skills, commitment to education, creative expression and reflective responses to tough questions. The Miss Greater West Coast Scholarship Pageant, sponsored by Executive Director Karen Roberson, was created to support inner city and underprivileged young women in their future academic endeavors. A defining factor of this new pageant is all participants in the pageant will spend one year after the event in a one-on-one mentoring program, performing community service, participating in charity events and going on excursions. Winners will receive college scholarships ranging from $750 to $3,000 along with other prizes valuing up to $10,000. The event will be held at California State University, Dominguez Hills Theatre. Celebrity hosts include Cecilia the Mamacita from 93.5 KDAY and Vincent M. Ward from the TV series Walking Dead.
