Loveland, CO, March 22, 2016 --(PR.com
)-- Integrative Health is now offering primary care for individuals and families, including a wide range of holistic and wellness treatments, in Northern Colorado.
This is the first time a direct primary care practice—already a new concept to most people—has offered both traditional medical primary services, such as checkups and care for minor illnesses, and holistic services, such as chiropractic, acupuncture, physical therapy, and therapeutic massage, in northern Colorado.
Direct primary care is an alternative payment model for healthcare. It is designed to empower the doctor-patient relationship, drive superior health outcomes, lower costs, and enhance patient experiences. It eliminates “fee-for-service” incentives.
Integrative Health’s approach is proactive in nature and designed to strategically pursue the long-term health of members. Doctors have the time to get to know each patient as an individual, establishing a model for identifying early changes that indicate a departure from optimal health, so they can intervene with corrective strategies. The doctors and other healthcare providers collaborate on patient care.
Integrative Health members have access to regular primary healthcare, acute care, comprehensive diagnostic testing, preventive care, chiropractic, acupuncture, physical therapy, therapeutic massage, discounted medications, pediatric services (well-child visits, immunizations, and sports physicals), a fitness assessment and exercise plan, discounted aesthetic services, and more are included.
Members pay a monthly membership fee directly to the practice, which allows unprecedented access to doctors and providers—same-day appointments, email and phone conversations—and access to the wide range of holistic treatments offered. Membership fees can be paid through a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or a Health Savings Account (HSA) using tax-free dollars.
Integrative Health provides personalized care using both traditional and alternative medicine, enhanced through a culture of communication and collaboration with an established team of healthcare providers. Integrative Health is currently accepting new members. Memberships will be limited to 500 individuals.
Founders Dr. James Howton, D.O., and Dr. Trenton Scott, D.C., L.Ac., are available for interviews.
