)-- One of the esteemed software firms, working in the domain of data conversion and management, recently unveiled a new addition in the long list of software it hosts- NSF Split. The software has been developed keeping in mind the need of splitting large sized Lotus Notes NSF files.
According to the reports, the utility has been outfitted with advance features that make the splitting process efficient and flawless. The most striking features of the software are its four parameters for splitting the NSF file.
Some of the prominent features, which the software has to offer, are:
· Split NSF by Folder splits NSF file and creates individual NSF files for each folder of the NSF file.
· Split NSF by Date creates two NSF files storing data residing prior and subsequent to the mentioned date.
· Split NSF by Year split NSF file and generates separate NSF files for all the mentioned years.
· Split NSF by Size splits the NSF files into different parts having a common size.
On the launch event of software, Evan Swans, Director of Product Development quoted, “We are well acquainted with the challenges that Lotus Notes users face in their everyday tasks. Large sized NSF is the foremost reason of slow performance of Lotus Notes and thus, we thought of developing a solution that could put an end to all the trouble. We believe that NSF Split will be well appreciated by Lotus Notes users.”
Reportedly, the software extends its support for splitting password protected NSF file as well. Once the password is supplied, the protected NSF file is easily dissevered. In addition to the core features, the software also offers the option of saving a non-dissevered copy of NSF file in the All Documents folder.
Susan Kaet, Director, Web Team Group had to say the following, “NSF Split not only fights the large size issue of NSF file but also enables the users to prioritize their data according to parameters like date and year. The software will prove to be very useful for Lotus Notes users.”
