Pop Artist, Ari B, Releases New Song and Music Video for “Break The Ice”

Boston, March 23, 2016 - Ari B, Boston’s new breakout artist, is releasing a song and music video for her latest single, “Break The Ice,” available on iTunes March 21, 2016. The new single follows the iTunes release of the 17-year old pop singer’s first single, “Respect.”

“Break The Ice” was written by Ari B and produced by Ric Poulin at Bristol Studios. The video, directed by Mikey Minden and choreographed by Kenya Clay, captures a unique atmosphere and features a group of old friends who find each other and reconnect for one night. Set in a warehouse in LA, the video is bright and lively; amidst a sea of hip-hop dancers, it is apparent that not only can she sing, but Ari B’s dancing skills are unmatched. She describes the set for her video as having “moody hallways, graphic walls, pops of color...the visual definitely depicts what I’m about. That’s what’s so cool about being a recording artist because you really get to bring out your personal characteristics.” Some of Ari B’s influences include MJ, Pink, and Hayley Williams from Paramore; the elements of her music video demonstrate a cross between these influences and Ari’s own unique style. Check out Ari’s video on YouTube.

The pop and R&B singer writes her own music saying, “I’m all about telling a story...you just gotta come from a natural place and feel whatever it is you’re creating.” “Break The Ice” is about life experiences and “not letting your fears hold you back because you could miss out on something potentially great.”

Ari B is hoping that her fans will identify with her music. She says, “ultimately, I do what I do to...relate to people and some of their struggles. It’s always reassuring to know you’re not alone in your gloom, especially when it’s expressed through a song.”
