The 2016 St. Louis World’s Fare Heritage Festival Returns to a 3-Day Format August 19-21 at the World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park

The St. Louis World’s Fare mission is to be an annual event that will bring together peoples of the region, showcasing the finest elements of international dance, art, music and food found in St. Louis while supporting local schools and charities.

St. Louis, MO, March 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The St. Louis World’s Fare Board of Directors in collaboration with the city of Saint Louis and the Saint Louis Parks Department are thrilled to announce the return of the St. Louis World’s Fare Heritage Festival in Forest Park at the World’s Fair Pavilion August 19th-21st. In an effort to unite the people of our region this unique festival showcases many diverse elements of St Louis history, present, and future in one of the most beautiful public parks in the United States.

The free admission 3-day festival has become known to feature a wide variety of what makes St. Louis great. In the event’s first 2 years it has attracted over 25,000 people to experience the finest chefs, musicians, artists, restaurants, businesses, and kids’ activities the city has to offer. All of this with a historic twist anchored by the 1904 World’s Fair Society.

The public is encouraged to come out and sample a wide range of scrumptious eats from over 20 restaurants and food trucks at the Culinary Pike, sit back and listen to some of the best Jazz, Blues, Rock and some other eclectic styles of music the area offers, view some eye popping artwork from some of the city’s finest artists, unwind with the family at some of the many excellent kids’ activities on the Kids Island, learn the amazing history of the 1904 World’s Fair and the City of Saint Louis, and take advantage of the chance to interact and learn more about some of the more innovative businesses around the Gateway city.
