This is the Lady Bulldogs’ third New York State Championship and third trip to Nationals. Says Coach Pedatella, “One of the things I always tell the girls is that as individuals, we can be beaten, but as a team, there’s nobody in the nation that can beat us. Our team’s success was also related to the hard work in the office and pro shop: extra ice, full ice practices, extra home slots, and the support we needed get the job done. We could have not won the State Championship without a strong foundation. Congratulations to everybody who contributed to this huge win!”
The first three games at Nationals will be played against the Concord Capitals, Alaska All Stars and Vermont Shamrocks.
The Lady Bulldogs are a girls travel hockey team that calls Brewster Ice Arena home. They have over 110 girls in the program, ranging in age from 8 to 19, with teams of girls that are 19 and under, 16 and under, and 12 and under. This championship team is the 16U girls.
