My Little Rascal Production Company to Produce Their First Feature Film

Lancaster, PA, March 25, 2016 --(PR.com)-- My Little Rascal Production Company was started by husband and wife team Joey and Lisa Sorrentino. Joey has been writing all of his life. His day job is a bus driver but his passion is writing. They started this on a 'what if' idea. Lisa Sorrentino one day said "What if we could produce Gatekeepers ourselves?" From there the idea snowballed and what they have accomplished in this past year is quite remarkable seeing they had no idea what the future would hold. With no budget, no cast or crew they started by advertising for actors and the response was remarkable. Today they have a full cast and crew. They knew they needed to raise funds for the production of Gatekeepers and decided they would take the year and build their social media and get the word out.

Knowing they needed a movie trailer to entice potential backers they were stumped. Usually you film the movie and pull the trailer from that. They needed to work backwards. The cast and crew came together and worked for free to get the trailer shot. One day and 5 locations, they got what they needed. An unexpected cast change after the shoot had them scrambling. The next weekend all came together again to re shoot the scenes. Not only did they get an amazing trailer but had enough footage for a short film. The response of the Horror Community has been very positive. Jason Werner of Body Count Rising says "This passion project needs to be made. A new horror legend is waiting to be born."
