They changed it after about six months. This band was formed out of the heavy influence and following of Suicidal Tendencies (hence the CYCOtic spelling of the name taken from the Suicidal Cyco's following). Other bands that were huge influences were local legends No Reaction, Neighborhood Watch and No Mercy. Their music is based on personal experiences and angry observations of the time in which they were raised. They recorded there 1st demo in 1985. they played every backyard party and Masonic Lodge gig they could, developing a following that would eventually, in a pay to play agreement, sell out the infamous Roxy Theater in Hollywood on Nov.18th-1987.
